ONE HEALTH FIELD TRAINING!
RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus in collaboration with the University of Western Australia is organizing ONE HEALTH FIELD TRAINING!
An 8-day intensive field course runs in the Belum Park, one of the oldest rainforest in the world. This module will expose the participants to a unique and fruitful synergy of traditionally separate disciplines of environmental, animal health and human health. This will show the participants the importance of collaboration in solving intractable human-animal-environment problems and give the participants the understanding and language to work with other disciplines. The course is designed to be field-focussed and introduces participants to the central components and conceptual frameworks that underlie and unify the three disciplines. The unit goals & learning outcomes are aimed at instilling in participants an appreciation of the interdisciplinary nature of the ecosystem, animal and human health and giving participants the tools to work in cross-disciplinary fields.
